International Kite Festival

Festivities on Friday include the Unlocking of the Ocean ceremony, opening of the Kite Sales Tent, Friday Night Social via the local kite club, Illuminated Night Kite Fly. Saturday includes the Silent and Loud Auctions (open to all); and Saturday and Sunday include the flying of large inflatable kites, team flying, as well as family games. Monday features the World Indoor Kite Exhibition inside the Wildwoods Convention Center.
Mark Kostabi: The New Direction
Ocean Galleries, Stone Harbor

This South Jersey gallery will house a collection of original artworks by celebrity superstar artist Mark Kostabi. His works will be on exhibition and available for acquisition May 25-29. He will hold meet-and-greets on Saturday and Sunday.

Pour Into Summer Wine Festival

On the grounds of the stadium, wine vendors will be offering samples of wines from NJ vineyards. There will be live music and activities, so kids are welcome as well.
Train Rides
Black River & Western Railroad, Flemington

The Black River Limited is the classic round-trip excursion between Flemington and Ringoes. The ride is about 20 minutes in each direction, plus a 15-20 minute stop to turn the train around. At Ringoes, you’ll have a chance to visit the museum, as well as the Gift Shop located in a historic Civil War-era station.
