I read a quote that said, “There’s temptation to think we must be really, really awful if we weren’t loved by the people who were supposed to love us the most.”

Your worth is not defined by someone’s decision to walk away.
You are not responsible for their actions.
It was never about you. It was about them.

I hope you grow to realize you weren’t asking for too much.
