Judas!!

Was just told by a friend that an ex-friend (who I parted ways yesterday after realizing that they are really, really ugly inside) is walking around town talking badly about me to anyone who will listen. Judas is what I call her. Jealousy was what really happened! She wanted to eliminate the competition!

Here’s the deal people, you will never hear the same about me. No one will ever say that I was talking badly about you because I don’t talk about you. I don’t even think about you. You play no role in my life.

But I am very happy to know that I live in your mind rent-free.

When I first heard that they were talking bad about me, I was cross but then I remembered that life is 10% what happens to us, and 90% reaction. So I thought about my reaction. And then I made the choice not to give any of my energy to their toxicity. Instead, I will recalibrate the universe.

What is recalibrating the universe?

Well, when we are faced with unkindness, negativity and toxic people or situations (even the petty passive-aggressive ones), then it is our duty to recalibrate the universe with the opposite.

We need to love louder.

BUT that action of goodwill doesn’t need to be directed at the people or things that have wronged us. People can only meet you as far as they have met themselves, and some people still have a very long road to go… so our job is to let them go.

And then make the journey easier for someone else.

You see, we restore the balance by doing something good for someone else. We cannot let the cruel make us unkind, and we cannot let the unkind make us cruel, rather, we need to take the bad and feed it with all the love and kindness.

Our job – our only real job – is to leave people, places and situations better than we found them.

That’s how we recalibrate the universe.

Yes! Let go of the bad energy. Delete the drama. And throw toxic in the trash… and then recalibrate the universe by doing something good for someone else.

I really hope you have the day you deserve.
