It doesn’t matter how good of a person you are.
It doesn’t matter if you’re the kindest, most loving, forgiving, patient person ever.
It doesn’t matter if you bend over backwards for others.
It doesn’t matter what your heart looks like.
Someone is going to paint a false narrative of you.
Somewhere, somehow you’re always going to be the villain in someone’s story.
That used to keep me up at night.
I could not stand the thought of someone not liking me, and I would do everything I could to “fix” it…
But the truth is, sometimes it can’t be fixed.
The hard truth? Some people have no choice but to paint you in a negative light because it makes them feel better about who they are, what they’ve done, or how they treated you.
You are responsible for your own intentions, not anyone else’s version of who you are.
