Sending Kindness!

Finding happiness in the everyday.

Friends, I know that life can be tough sometimes and many of us are dealing with the most, fighting horrible demons in our heads… and probably just not saying anything (cause the first rule of Fight Club is we don’t talk about Fight Club) but I wanted to take a moment to remind you that it’s okay not to be okay.

Read that again. It is okay not to be okay.

Some days are tougher than others. And if you’re having one of those days, then pick just 1 of these things (or all of them if you want) and do it right now.

  1. Practice Gratitude: Take a moment to reflect on things you’re grateful for. Write down three things you appreciate in your life right now. Focusing on positive aspects can shift your perspective and enhance your overall mood.
  2. Deep Breathing or Meditation: Spend a few minutes practising deep breathing or engaging in a short meditation session. This can help reduce stress, calm your mind, and promote a sense of inner peace.
  3. Connect with a Loved One: Reach out to a friend, family member, or loved one. Even a brief conversation or exchange of positive messages can uplift your spirits and strengthen your social connections.
  4. Engage in Physical Activity: Take a short walk, do a few stretches, or engage in a quick workout. Physical activity releases endorphins, which are natural mood enhancers and can help you feel more energetic and positive.
  5. Engage in a Hobby: Spend some time doing something you genuinely enjoy, whether it’s reading, drawing, cooking, playing a musical instrument, or any other hobby. Engaging in activities you’re passionate about can provide a sense of accomplishment and enjoyment.

Remember, happiness doesn’t always come from big, grand gestures. It’s often found in the small, meaningful moments that make up our daily lives.

I am sending you so much kindness.
