Thoughts about respite.. (being alone)
We all need to be alone, but how can you?
Christmas season is …
“It’s the most wonderful time of the year!”
“Nothing seems to bring people together like Christmas.” –
Then you hear the Christmas song…Silver Bells…
City sidewalks, busy sidewalks, dressed in holiday style
In the air there’s a feeling of Christmas
Children laughing, people passing, meeting smile after smile
And on every street corner you hear
Silver bells, silver bells
It’s Christmas time in the city
Ring a ling, hear them ring
Soon it’ll be Christmas Day
Regardless, you need to find your alone time to make you whole.

And these final thoughts…
Take a deep breath, and calm your thoughts. Rise above the noise and confusion of the day, to a place that is peaceful and serene.
Let go, for a moment, of the need to judge, to analyze, to criticize and to strategize. Let go, for a moment, and experience how beautiful it is to just be.
All is well in this moment. It’s perfectly fine to simply enjoy it for a while.
Your problems, your dramas, your possessions are all very small compared to who you are. Take just a little while to remember that.
Touch, for a moment, the beauty and boundless energy that is your life. Consider what a miracle it truly is.
Give yourself a refreshing respite of peace, of calm serenity. Then take it with you in all you do.
