HOLLYWOOD- Everyone is starting to bake for Christmas, so its no surprise that everyone starts early, including celebrities. Italian ricotta cookies are my favorite and very easy to make. They are super soft and absolutely delicious, topped with almond glaze and sprinkles. Always a favorite for kids, perhaps it’s the sprinkles. The queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey, loves to share her famous Christmas sugar cookies, which calls for butter, sugar, eggs, milk, lemon zest, vanilla extract, flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
Snoop Dogg loves to make his peanut butter chocolate chip cookies that are made with creamy peanut butter and semisweet chocolate. Another fan of chocolate chip cookies is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. John Legend does his peanut butter oatmeal chocolate chunk cookies. Blake Lively loves to make holiday cookies, including Christmas trees, snowflakes and candy canes. Kim Kardashian does her sesame seed-covered cookies, which she says were her nana’s cookies. Kylie Jenner loves her gooey chocolate chip cookies. Last but not least Taylor Swift has her chai tea eggnog cookies. I’m sure she will have plenty of time on her hands since her tour is now over.
Taylor’s tour was first announced in November 2022, it’s been an amazing tour bigger than she could have imagined-with 149 shows in 53 cities seen by 10.1 million fans. By the way, it managed to bring in an estimated $2 billion in ticket sales, while the economy has been rough for so many people. Parents have managed to hoover up money for their children to enjoy. Swift has called it “the most exhausting, however most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened” in her life. Writing in her recently-published tour book, Swift said the 45-song, career-spanning setlist was inspired by the decision to re-record her first six albums, which made her fall “ back in love” with her past work. She played concerts in the pouring rain, in the blazing heat, with high humidity, in bitter cold, even when she was under the weather. She did it. Not easy making money, these days. Fans across the world have traded friendship bracelets and dressed as their favorite Taylor “Era” while attending the concerts.
Her concerts were about more than the music, outside the stadiums, ticketless Swifties gathered in car parks to sing along. At one show in Munich, Germany, 40,000 fans gathered on a nearby hill just to catch a glimpse of the show, almost outnumbering the fans inside the city’s former Olympic Stadium. What will she do next? Fans have anticipated that she will be announcing a new album. While others, feel she will turn to acting.Back in December 2022, she signed a deal to direct a film for Searchlight Pictures, based on her own original script. While others feel that perhaps, she will be thinking of wedding rings and pushing strollers. Maybe she will tie the knot with Travis Kelce, and start a family.
If she decides to head back to the studio, I’m sure she will turn everything to gold, as usual. Whatever she decides to do, her fans will back her up. Taylor and her team should be very proud of the joy that she has brought to many during the Era Tour run. Taylor who turned 35 on December 13, 2024, celebrated with family. Travis Kelce’s dad, instead of buying her a lavish gift, bought something from the heart, according to published reports. At the final show in Vancouver, Canada, fans began singing Happy Birthday to the singer. Her birthday came a day after Swift made history as the winner of the most Billboard Music Awards. Swift picked up 10 prizes on December 12, including top artist and top Billboard 200 album for the Tortured Poets Department. That brings the total number of Billboard Awards won by Swift to 49, the highest of any artist, overtaking Drake’s 41. What a great early birthday gift Taylor!
