Dating!

What many women discovered from online dating… it’s not worth the hassle. One person said, My profile went from getting to show who I was to, literally, this:

” I don’t want your money, and you will NEVER get a penny of mine, no matter how many family members are dying or need surgery or are being held hostage in Russia. It’s not going to happen. If you’re a smoker or drug user, keep swiping. If you have more than one drink a day, move on. If you gamble, see ya. If you’ve ever cheated, keep looking. IF we meet in person, if you don’t look EXACTLY like your picture (no, not a younger version of you) then I will leave without so much as saying a word, and I’ll block you. If you have kids who still live at home, not interested, no matter what age they are. If you don’t believe in absolute truth and trust as the basis for a relationship, find someone who thinks like you…”

It went on to be MORE specific. It definitely weeded out a LOT of low life creeps, and I discovered the men who were upright and legit (very few) actually liked it, and they knew why I was doing it. I can’t stress enough, never, never, never EVER give a man any money. For ANY reason. No matter how long you’ve seen each other! EVER! I’ve heard stories of women who have given men hundreds of thousands of their own money, then have the NERVE to act surprised when he disappears with it. C’mon, girls. Online dating isn’t new. We KNOW the scams. If you fall for it thinking, “Maybe he really loves me,” you have only yourselves to blame. Loneliness can skew our thinking, but just remember, what kind of man goes online and asks a woman for money? I’m not being judgmental or a bitch. I’m being a tough love mother who speaks the truth to warn her friends away from the sleaze bag trash. I hope it helps.
