Survival!

There’s strength in having survived.

I know you don’t see it right now, don’t feel it, but the fact that you have survived proves that you ARE strong.

Never underestimate that.

Don’t entertain the lie that you are anything but strong and courageous. The falsehood that you are alone, abandoned.

It’s time to believe who you are, WHOSE you are, and rise again.

It may be a slow, gradual, often imperceptable process. Much of it may take place in quiet, so private, the secret place, away from the public eye, but you will begin to perceive that deep and irrevocable change is coming. It begins deep down on the inside, in quiet and heartfelt communion with your loving Heavenly Father, but eventually it will be impossible to contain.

Don’t rush it. Don’t hurry it. Rather, wait for it. Wait in faith, with hope trusting His love to shine through. For you, then through you, to others who need the very strength you are doubting right now.

Peace, Be still!

Be still and know, that I am God.

Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!
