Thanksgiving is the holiday of peace….. a true festival of sharing and caring,
This is the season for reflection and being appreciative and thankful for all we have been given. Sometimes we forget how truly blessed we are.
Practice gratitude. Your attention will shift from the things you don’t have to the things you do have. Once you practice being grateful you will notice you begin attracting more positive things, people and events in your world.
Being thankful is healthy. The opposite of thankfulness, is complaining, its as unhealthy as having a poor diet. The difference between thankful and bitter people is startling. Being thankful will change your mood for the rest of the day.
I will share some of my thankfulness with you. My family is small, but I am so glad to have them – each and every one of them!
Friends are truly the family we choose and are such an important part of my life also and mean so much to me. I’m truly thankful that I have plenty to eat and a warm, welcoming home. I cannot forget the pets (not mine but my grand pups, Ashy, Maple and Oakley) that love us unconditionally – well, I love them too.
I want to wish everyone a happy, blessed and safe Thanksgiving! Enjoy the day with family and friends!
