The looters set the example of living by chance. There’s no long term benefit, or even a short term benefit if it’s combined with destruction too. That doesn’t benefit anyone.

We might not be able to always choose our circumstance but we do have a choice in how we respond. Let go of historical issues & move forward. Like so many communities that have stood together to defend their homes, their families & their livelihoods. People that didn’t even acknowledge each other previously have become close friends. They choose to move forward amidst the chaos. They choose change to make their lives better.
