Full Life!

Thoughts about living your life fully

Sometimes I get a melancholy feeling and can’t help but regress back in time. The folk song “Today” enhances the feeling of longing of my college days, simple but unforgettable. And as it goes..,

“Today, while the blossoms still cling to the vine
I’ll taste your strawberries, I’ll drink your sweet wine
A million tomorrows shall all pass away
‘Ere I forget all the joy that is mine, Today!”

And these thoughts…

This day will soon be over. Enjoy its special wonder, its unique place in your life, while it is here.

Your problems will eventually be solved. While you have them, learn from them, grow, innovate, draw inspiration and determination from them.

You will not always be where you now find yourself. While you’re in this place, fully appreciate it, explore its details, and add its distinctive substance to your experience.

Some of the people you share this moment with, you may not see again for a long time, if ever. Treasure the time you spend with them, give your best to the encounter, get the most out of it.

To live your life fully you must live it fully as it comes. Avoid putting off until later, for later can never again offer the missed opportunities of now.

Use the good china, embrace those you love, speak your mind, soak in the beauty, share your feelings. Life is yours to live, and now is when it happens best.
