Optimism!

Thoughts about optimism…

Come to think of it, I adopted the attitude of looking at the bright side of life whatever the conditions are. Truly optimistic with a mind set when conditions are not as good, things happened for a reason.

The dictionary defines optimism:

“Optimism – positive and hopeful emotion that encourages you to look forward to a bright future, one in which you believe that things will mostly work out. “

“Optimism is a strategy for making a better future. Because unless you believe that the future can be better, it’s unlikely you will step up and take responsibility for making it so. If you assume that there’s no hope, you guarantee that there will be no hope. If you assume that there is an instinct for freedom, that there are opportunities to change things, there is a chance you may contribute to making a better world. The choice isyours.”
Noam Chomsky

And these borrowed thoughts to illustrate….

A successful day begins with successful thoughts and expectations. When you sincerely expect to get it done, you’re well on your way.

The reality of this moment is what it is. What truly matters, though, is your interpretation of reality, and that depends on you.

The way you see the world determines the way you respond to it. See this day as an opportunity, and you’ll act to capitalize on the opportunity.

Your thoughts and expectations alone do not influence the situation. They do influence you, and will push you to do great things in any situation.

Stop looking for reasons to be optimistic, and let your own optimism be the reason. Choose positive expectations, a positive frame of mind, and let yourself be driven to create positive results.

Today, live the great day you deserve by first envisioning it in your mind. Then follow that vision and enjoy the satisfaction of working to make it all come true.
