Growing up, I was fortunate to have a number of mother figures in my life. From my grandma to moms friend’s, I’ve been blessed to know so many strong, smart and great women.
To my mom,
For as long as I can remember, you’ve always been there
Since day one, showering me with love, kindness and care.
In my eyes, you are a superhero, there’s nothing you can’t do
The best mom there is, this I know is true.
Your love knows no bounds.
Didn’t matter if it was sunshine or snow, sleet or rain.
You always make me feel great!
When it comes to you, no moms compete.
Your laugh is infectious, a smile that lights up a room
With you around, there’s no doom and gloom. You always say the right thing to make me feel better. Yes, we are all getting older. Age is simply a number.
So on this day that is all yours
From the bottom of my heart, all my love pours.
There are not enough words to describe my love for you
I love you to the moon and back, to the sun and moon too.
I wrote this to make you feel special,
I hope a poem was the right vessel.
